Paintings for Pets!

Let's face it, your dog's digs could use some sprucing up!  I've been creating some art for your pet and his/her environment. These fun, colorful paintings are small (5 X 7), Hung at pet's eye level, and depict things your pets revere, like garbage, leftovers, bones, mice, and deaad fish.  Manga!  place them near your pet's food and water dishes or bed to give them some art of their very own!   $20 ea.

Randy Kinkel

Randy Kinkel is an artist, writer, and radio DJ who has lived in the valley for the last 11 years.  His work can be seen in Red Dog Gallery, 812 N 3rd St, Phoenix, and at Southwest Gardener in Phoenix.

You can hear him every weekday on 89.5 all-classical KBAQ where he is afternoon announcer and host of the daily “Mozart Buffet” at noon, serving up your Recomended  Daily Allowance of Mozart and his contemporaries.

When not moving paint around on a canvas, he might be playing his piano, listening to music, reading, browsing in various bookstores, music stores and art galleries, or playing Simcity 4, which he is addicted to.  Occasionally he does go outside, mainly for more art supplies and groceries.

Another hobby is reading and collecting true accounts of ghosts and hauntings; he now has over 200 volumes.  He once occupied a haunted apartment and lived to tell the tale!  He is currently doing research for a book on the Ghosts of Phoenix.

Randy and his wife Nancy share their lives with four beagles and two cats, all adopted or rescued from homes that could no longer care for them; they strongly support animal rescue organizations and no-kill shelters.

"I believe in the transformative, expressive, and healing power of Art, both for the artist and those who view the artists' work.  Art in general, and painting in particular, has enriched my life immeasurably and given me different ways of seeing.

I hope you have something in your life that moves you and involves you as intensely and personally as art moves and involves me."
