Thanks for visiting!  I'm Randy Kinkel-- I'm an artist from Phoenix, Arizona.  This site contains examples of my art, most of which is acrylic on canvas.  I paint abstracts and colorful dogs,cats and birds on canvas and boards.  With the abstracts, I often bypass brushes and opt instead for palette knife, paint scraper, cloth or other found object, along with throwing or dripping paint onto the surface. Influenced by artists such as Pollack, Rothko and de Kooning, My pieces show a mixture  of blended colors with a variety of textures. I cover a range of compositional forms, from a frenzied field of abstract shapes to more contemplative works with a reduced color palette.
